Values Guided Life Coaching
Clarify what matters. Embrace your strengths.
Build a meaningful life rooted in your values.
You can’t build a meaningful life without knowing what makes it meaningful.
For Those Seeking Clarity. Direction. Confidence.
You want to know what you’re working toward — and why it matters.
You want to stop second-guessing yourself.
You want to make decisions that feel yours — not shaped by what you think everyone else expects.
But without a clear sense of what truly matters to you, every choice carries friction.
Forward movement feels uncertain. Achievement provides only a short spark and then fizzles out.
And underneath it all, there are quiet persistent questions:
→ Who am I really? What do I actually want? What do I stand for?
You are highly intelligent and capable. But somewhere along the way, you lost the thread.
You might find yourself asking:
- How do I figure out what I really want?
- What kind of life do I really want to build?
- What are my strengths and gifts?
- What am I good at that’s worthwhile pursuing?
- What is my true purpose? Is there such a thing?
- What do I value most?
- Why do I feel so stuck? And shouldn’t I have this figured out by now?
Or you might be:
- Comparing yourself to people who seem clear and confident
- Overriding your own needs to keep the peace or avoid conflict
- Chronically second-guessing yourself — in work, in relationships, in life
- Feeling behind, even when you’re objectively doing well
- Pursuing goals shaped by others’ expectations
- Wondering if everyone else has something figured out that you’re missing
This isn’t weakness. It isn’t failure. This is what happens when you haven’t clarified what truly matters to you.
The Missing Foundation: Values
What’s often missing isn’t ambition. It’s not discipline. It’s not even clarity about what you could do.
It’s clarity about what matters.
When you don’t know your core values — or when you’re living by values that were inherited, imposed, or never examined — life becomes a series of reactions rather than choices.
You achieve things that don’t satisfy you. You say yes when you mean no. You feel guilty for wanting what you want.
You doubt yourself constantly because there’s no internal reference point to trust.
Values are that reference point. They’re not abstract ideals. They’re the lived principles that guide your decisions, shape your boundaries, and anchor your sense of integrity.
When your values are clear, decisions become simpler.
Not easier — but clearer.
Because now you have something to choose from, not just something to react to. And when you know what matters, you can begin to build a life that feels authentic — not inherited, not performed, but genuinely yours.
What is Values Guided Coaching?
This is structured, values-rooted work designed to help you:
Clarify what truly matters to you — not what you think should matter, but what actually does. We explore to find your values, your strengths, your gifts, and what gives your life meaning and purpose.
Identify where you’ve been overriding yourself — the places where you’ve been living by someone else’s script, or ignoring your own needs to avoid conflict, judgment, or disappointment.
Translate values into meaningful goals — so your ambitions are rooted in something real and significant to you. When your goals are aligned with your actual values, motivation becomes intrinsic. You’re not forcing yourself. You’re choosing what matters.
Build the courage to choose — and to stand by those choices, even when they disappoint others or challenge your protective patterns. This includes learning to set boundaries without guilt, and to trust your own judgment and stop outsourcing your authority.
Practice aligned action — small, concrete experiments that strengthen self-trust and build evidence that you can live with integrity. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about consistency and learning.
Reflect and learn — not to judge yourself, but to understand what your choices reveal about your values, your fears, and your patterns. This work includes reflection on action: we look at what you committed to, what got in the way, and what that reveals. Not to criticize — but to clarify.
This Work Includes
- Values clarification exercises (often using The Heart of Values Workbook)
- Strengths and purpose exploration — identifying your natural gifts and how they connect to what matters most
- Goal-setting rooted in your values — so your ambitions feel meaningful, not empty
- Identifying internal conflicts and protective patterns — understanding what gets in the way of choosing with confidence
- Building boundaries without guilt — learning to protect what matters without collapsing or hardening
- Practicing committed action — taking small, aligned steps that build self-trust
- Strengthening self-trust through lived experience — seeing evidence that you can choose and that your choices matter
This isn’t just reflection. It’s direction, action, and integration.
This coaching clarifies what matters — and translates that clarity into committed action.
You don’t just reflect. You move.
Core Values, Relationships & Boundaries
How Your Values Show Up in Relationships
Values work isn’t abstract.
It shows up most clearly — and most painfully — in how you relate to others in your personal and professional life.
Many people come to this work because they notice patterns in relationships that leave them feeling stuck, drained, or unfulfilled:
- You pick people who don’t see you — or who take more than they give.
- You override your own needs to keep the peace, avoid conflict, or maintain connection.
- You’re “too nice” — and people walk over you, take advantage, or don’t take you seriously.
- You say yes when you mean no — and resent it later.
- You feel invisible — even in long-term relationships where you should feel seen.
- You struggle to speak up — afraid of disappointing people, losing connection, or being rejected.
These aren’t character flaws.
They’re signs that you’re living more from protection than from authenticity. Protecting your sense of safety, dignity, belonging and worth.
When you clarify your values, you begin to see:
- What you’ve been tolerating that violates what matters to you
- Why certain relationships or interpersonal dynamics drain you while others energize you
- Where you’ve been sacrificing your integrity to maintain approval or belonging
- What boundaries you need — and how to hold them without guilt
This work can help you relate to others from a foundation of self-respect and clarity. Not by demanding others change. But by taking a stand for your own needs and values, and what deserves your time, attention, and energy.
What You May Notice Over Time
- You make decisions more easily — because you have a clear internal reference point.
- You trust yourself more — because your choices are aligned with what actually matters to you.
- You feel less friction — because you’re no longer constantly overriding your own needs or second-guessing yourself.
- You say no without guilt — because your boundaries are rooted in your values, not in fear.
- You move forward with confidence — not because you have all the answers, but because you trust your capacity to choose and learn.
- You discover your strengths and purpose — and you begin to see how they connect to a life that feels meaningful.
- You build a life that feels yours — not inherited, not performed, not shaped by avoidance or external approval.
This is what it means to guide yourself with clarity and courage.

What Working Together Looks Like
This is structured, reflective, and action-oriented work.
Most people begin meeting weekly or bi-weekly to build clarity and momentum. As your foundation strengthens, sessions often shift to bi-weekly or monthly — giving you more space to apply what you’re learning in real life.
Sessions are held via Zoom.
Each conversation is focused and practical. We clarify what matters, explore where you feel stuck, and identify aligned next steps.
Between sessions, you’ll experiment. With intention and curiosity but without pressure or judgment.
You might test a boundary.
Have a conversation you’ve been postponing.
Make a decision you’ve been circling.
Adjust a goal so it actually fits.
We reflect on what happened — not to judge, but to learn.
Over time, something stabilizes. You begin to recognize your own patterns more quickly. You hesitate less. You choose more cleanly.
You are not expected to be perfect. You are expected to engage honestly.
You’re not alone in this — it’s a collaborative process. I bring heart, structure, clarity, and belief. You bring your willingness to learn and to try.
Together, we build the steadiness required for you to guide yourself.
What Clients Have Experienced
The work is developmental and deeply personal.
Over time, clients often describe a shift not just in what they do —
but in how they experience themselves.
Here are a few reflections shared with permission:
“Ongoing coaching provides reassurance, different perspectives, assistance with self discovery and some accountability in goal setting and facing fears that may block a path to what really matters. Coaching has given me feelings of relief and comfort during a time when my life felt stuck and out of my control…”
“Guy is fully invested, 100% committed and completely present at each session…He has a way of leading you toward self-discovery and insights, all the while being patient, compassionate and real. He helped me to clear the emotional blocks to not let them have such a hold on me so as to recognize they are there but I am free to make choices. He is dedicated and focused on helping you to achieve your goals.”
“Guy became a tour guide of who I authentically already was, and helped me clear my own path to continuing to become who I truly am and want to be.”
If this resonates…
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
But if you’re ready to start clarifying what matters — and begin choosing from that place, then let’s have a conversation.
We’ll look at where you are, what feels unclear or stuck, and whether this approach is a fit for you.
No pressure.
